We were asked to build a new porch for a property in Esher, replacing the existing flat roof and timber-screen porch. We worked closely with our client to come up with a design that complemented the rest of the property; and we liaised with the local authority to ensure appropriate permissions were granted.
The property’s glazed roof tiles were sourced and imported from Belgium. The new double-glazed crittal windows we installed matched the existing windows at the front of the property.
Internally we created a glazed timber screen with oak double doors. The bespoke fitted furniture was designed to match the existing oak panelling in the hallway. We also installed under-floor heating and durable tiles to ensure the porch could be used as a drying and storage area for wet boots and coats.
Since the completion of the project we have been asked to quote for a further extension to the property.
