We were tasked with fully refurbishing our client’s riverside home following the unsuccessful sale of the property. Working to a fixed budget, we set about designing a contemporary home on the River Thames.
We replaced the concrete roof tiles with natural slate and remodelled the aluminium-framed dormer windows. To give the property a more contemporary look we used cedar cladding for the dormer cheeks.
Internally the refurbishment included a new staircase, three new bathrooms, a new kitchen and a utility room. We rewired the house, installed a new central heating system and replaced all the windows. New oak flooring was laid on the ground floor and we decorated the property throughout.
Following the successful refurbishment, the house sold quickly and our clients have since asked us to carry out similar work to their new home.
